ADCP2-1 The Paladins' Plague
The leaders of Elturel are concerned about the plagueland a few miles outside the city, which has recently begun spewing out even more twisted monstrosities than usual. The paladins have put out a call for adventuring companies to send their best and bravest explorers to venture to the border, if not into the plagueland itself. The expedition's charter is to bring back any information about the horrors within and what might be causing the increase in Spellplague activity. This is a very dangerous assignment, but also one that offers adventurers the chance to make a name for themselves by braving one of the most dangerous and least understood threats in all of Faerun: an active plagueland. The Paladins' Plague is a two-round continuous-play Living Forgotten Realms Battle Interactive set in Elturgard for characters levels 1-17. This adventure is combat-intensive. Players who do not enjoy combat encounters are less likely to enjoy this adventure. All of the characters in the party must be within a single level band (1-4, 4-7, 7-10, 11-14, or 14-17). It is recommended that at least three of the characters be members of the same Adventuring Company. This adventure takes place after the events of the various SPEC2-1 adventures, but playing the adventures in order is not required. This adventure may only be run at Wizards Play Network (WPN) Public Play events. It may not be sanctioned for Private Play.

LFR Adventure Company - Society of Wandering Adventurers and Treasurehunters (S.W.A.T.)


While the members of this society have build a name for themself as notorious, treasureseeking, brawling and corpserobbing adventurers, they secretly have sworn an oath to oppose the forces of darkness and evil that surround the goodly regions of Cormyr, the Dalelands and the elven realm of Myth Drannor.

Requirements
- The members must be from one of the following regions: Cormyr, the Dalelands or Myth Drannor. A character that is not from one of these regions must be sponsored by an existing member that is from one of these regions.
- The members must swear an oath to oppose the Zhentarim, Sembia and the Netherese whenever they can.
- The members must show they are true adventurers by being trained in at least one of the following skills : Streetwise (notorious), Perception (treasureseeking), Intimidate (brawling) and Thievery (corpserobbing). If the character can show evidence that they oppose Sembia, the Netherese and the Zhentarim or that they have gained the favor of Cormyr, the Dalelands or Myth Drannor, they might gain a free pass for this skill requirement. If your character earned a story award that proves this (for example CORM01 or WEEK06), the skill training requirement is dropped.

Zaterdag 23 mei - Worldwide D&D Gameday
Er zal een speciaal avontuur kunnen gespeeld worden naar aanleiding van het uitbrengen van Monster Manual II. Het avontuur heet Journey Through the Silver Caves en zal kunnen gespeeld worden met vooraf gegenereerde personages. De mogelijke personages om mee te spelen zijn Althaea (5th level Eladrin Wizard), Arjhana (5th level Dragonborn Rogue), Chance (5th level Tiefling Warlord), Eomer (5th level Dwarf Paladin) en Uthal (5th level Goliath Barbarian). Deze vooraf gegenereerde personages werden deze keer voorbereid met de D&D Insider Character Generator.

Iedereen zal ook zijn kennis van 4th edition kunnen testen met een speciale trivia test.

MINI1-1 Stirring the Embers
All is not well in the Great Port of Tarmalune and no one speaks of it. People are disappearing toward some fell purpose, and you are next. A two-round Living Forgotten Realms adventure that is Part 1 of the Embers of Dawn mini-campaign, set in Tarmalune for characters levels 1-4. It is recommended that you play the Embers of Dawn mini-campaign adventures in sequential order with one character for the best enjoyment and play possibilities within the mini-campaign, but it is not required.
  
MINI1-2 The Burning Scent of Perfumed Swords
Investigations bring you to the perfumed back alleys of Sambral where it becomes clear that you are not the first to look into the activities of the fire cult. All those who have come before you have disappeared or been left a ruin of their former selves; leaving you to wonder, “Will you share their fate?” A two-round Living Forgotten Realms adventure that is Part 2 of the Embers of Dawn mini-campaign, set in Sambral for characters levels 1-4. Adventurers have gained a clue that the cult activities in Sambral are directed by superiors in Ramekho. Your discoveries regarding a fire cult operating in the Windrise Ports brings you to the city of Harglast You believe the leader of this cult is in town. Now begins the frenzied race to find him. It is recommended that you play the Embers of Dawn mini-campaign adventures in sequential order with one character for the best enjoyment and play possibilities within the mini-campaign, but it is not required.
  
MINI1-5 Pyrophobia
Lone survivors. Run. Flames. Madness. Run. Trails of Smoke. Watching eyes. RUN! You have thwarted the fire cult's summoning, but at what price? Can you escape the fire cult's advances and reveal their true leader? MINI1-6 Quench the Fire of the Raging God
Though your allies are bloodied and decimated, you remain determined to quench the threat. Tracking the remains of the cult to Imdolphyn you find aid in short supply as the final reckoning approaches. A Living Forgotten Realms adventure that is part of the Embers of Dawn mini-campaign set in Imdolphyn for characters levels 1-4. It is recommended that you play the Embers of Dawn mini-campaign adventures in sequential order with one character for the best enjoyment and play possibilities within the mini-campaign, but it is not required.
  
ADCP1-1 Jungle Hunt
A great hunt has been called in the jungles of Chult. The Amnian trading costers of Port Nyranzaru are competing to see which one can bring in the biggest, rarest beasts as trophies, and they’re looking for adventuring companies to do the hunting. Are you and your companions up to the challenge? A Living Forgotten Realms adventure set in Chult for characters levels 1-14. At least four of the characters in the party must be members of the same Adventuring Company in order to play this adventure, and all of the characters at the same table must be within a single level band (1-4, 4-7, 7-10, or 11-14).
  
ADCP2-1 The Paladins' Plague
The leaders of Elturel are concerned about the plagueland a few miles outside the city, which has recently begun spewing out even more twisted monstrosities than usual. The paladins have put out a call for adventuring companies to send their best and bravest explorers to venture to the border, if not into the plagueland itself. The expedition's charter is to bring back any information about the horrors within and what might be causing the increase in Spellplague activity. This is a very dangerous assignment, but also one that offers adventurers the chance to make a name for themselves by braving one of the most dangerous and least understood threats in all of Faerun: an active plagueland. The Paladins' Plague is a two-round continuous-play Living Forgotten Realms Battle Interactive set in Elturgard for characters levels 1-17. This adventure is combat-intensive. Players who do not enjoy combat encounters are less likely to enjoy this adventure. All of the characters in the party must be within a single level band (1-4, 4-7, 7-10, 11-14, or 14-17). It is recommended that at least three of the characters be members of the same Adventuring Company. This adventure takes place after the events of the various SPEC2-1 adventures, but playing the adventures in order is not required. This adventure may only be run at Wizards Play Network (WPN) Public Play events. It may not be sanctioned for Private Play.

Faeries, sprites, nymphs, and dryads – the fey creatures of Faerûn’s wild places are often dismissed as nuisances and pranksters. Those who truly understand the fey know that as with all things natural, there is a darker side to these creatures of fancy. Could a rash of stolen food and sleep dust traps point to a more sinister threat lurking on the wild side of reality? A Living Forgotten Realms adventure set in Aglarond for characters levels 1-4.

Zaterdag 21 maart - Worldwide D&D Gameday
Er zal een speciaal avontuur kunnen gespeeld worden naar aanleiding van het uitbrengen van Player's Handbook II. Het avontuur heet One Dark Night in Weeping Briar en zal kunnen gespeeld worden met vooraf gegenereerde personages. De mogelijke personages om mee te spelen zijn Balasar (11th level Dragonborn Paladin of Bahamut), Ilivarra (11th level Drow Avenger), Markaria (11th level Tiefling Invoker), Roswyn (11th level Gnome Bard) en Squeaks (11th level Warforged Barbarian). Deze vooraf gegenereerde personages gebruiken reeds classes en powers uit Player's Handbook II en Divine Power.

Iedereen zal ook zijn kennis van 4th edition kunnen testen met een speciale trivia test.

Naast dit adventure organiseren we ook een Dungeon Delve. De Dungeon Delve van maart is "Company of the Griffon" en is een adventure voor 10th level personages. Je brengt best zelf een 10th level personage mee. Misschien is dit eens een kans om je LFR personage al eens uit te werken tot 10th level en eens te playtesten ...

The first band sent to complete the task has disappeared and time is of the essence. You had best hurry if you expect your rich reward.. An adventure for 5 10th-level characters.

Inschrijvingsprocedure voor nieuwe spelers


Stap 1 : vul het DCI formulier in

De organisator van een RPGA evenement kan je een DCI formulier bezorgen. Stuur Joost [demonlordd1@yahoo.com] of Jerre [rpga-lva@skynet.be] een e-mail en dan kan dit voor een evenement al geregeld worden. Eens je het formulier hebt, vul dit in, scheur de kaart en de activatiecode van het formulier en bezorg het formulier terug aan de organisator. Hij zal dit formulier opsturen naar Wizards of the Coast.

Stap 2 : registreer je nieuwe DCI kaart

Surf naar http://www.thedci.com/activate. Geef het DCI nummer van je nieuwe kaart in. In de volgende schermen moet je ook de activatie code, je regio en geboortedatum en je e-mail adres ingeven. Even later stuurt Wizards of the Coast jou een e-mail met een initieel paswoord om in te loggen op de DCI website.

Stap 3 : registreer je voor D&D Rewards.

Na stap 2 ben je enkel nog maar een DCI lid. Surf naar https://membership.wizards.com/login.aspx?ReturnURL=/signup/signup.aspx en login met je DCI nummer en je ontvangen paswoord. Kies voor D&D Rewards. Als je de nodige gegevens hebt ingegeven, krijg je opnieuw een e-mail met de bevestiging dat je nu ook ingeschreven bent voor D&D Rewards. Als je nu inlogt op de DCI website door te surfen naar https://webapp.wizards.com/personal.aspx, krijg je de link My Rewards in de rechter kolom.
Proficiat, je bent nu lid van de RPGA!
Als je toegang hebt tot je mailbox via internet (vb webmail applicatie van je provider of omdat je een hotmail of gmail account hebt), kan deze procedure ter plaatse uitgevoerd worden (als we kunnen gebruik maken van de internetverbinding van Hermelijn). Als je niet ingeschreven bent voor D&D Rewards voor je deelname aan je eerste RPGA evenement, krijg je geen D&D Rewards punten voor je eerste evenement.

Stap 4 : registreer je LFR personage

De enige manier die momenteel gekend is om je LFR (Living Forgotten Realms) personage te registeren alvorens je aan een evenement hebt deelgenomen, is door gebruik te maken van de Wizards of the Coast knowledge base om contact te maken met Wizards of the Coast customer service. Surf hiervoor naar http://www.wizards.com/customerservice en klik op Email Us. Vermeld in je bericht dat de link My Characters ontbreekt wanneer je inlogt bij op de DCI website. Van zodra ze dit bericht verwerkt hebben, krijg je een e-mail met een bevestiging.

Wanneer je dan inlogt op https://webapp.wizards.com/personal.aspx is de My Characters link rechts toegevoegd. Klik op deze link en klik op de volgende webpagina bovenaan op Dungeons & Dragons. Je krijgt dan de mogelijkheid om op Living Forgotten Realms te klikken. Daarna is het eenvoudig: klik op Add voor een nieuw personage toe te voegen waarbij enkel de naam kan ingegeven worden. Selecteer eventueel default for campaign aan om aan te geven met welk personage je voornamelijk zal spelen.

Weekend in the Realms (24-26 oktober 2008)


In het weekend van 24-26 oktober organiseert de RPGA wereldwijd een speciaal introductie evenement voor de Living Forgotten Realms Campaign. Wij gaan gebruik maken van dit evenement om ook in Aalst de Living Forgotten Realms campaign te starten.


Tijdens dit weeked is er de exclusieve mogelijkheid om het LFR mega-avontuur "Beneath Haunted Halls " te spelen. Enkel tijdens dit weekend zal het mogelijk zijn om dit avontuur te spelen dat zich afspeelt in en rond de beroemde Haunted Halls of Eveningstar. Het avontuur bestaat uit drie delen die elk in ongeveer drie uren kunnen gespeeld worden. Je kan één, twee of alle drie de delen spelen en voor elke deel krijg je D&D rewards punten voor je LFR personage.

Wat is Living Forgotten Realms ?


Living Forgotten Realms (LFR) is een Living 4th edition Dungeons & Dragons RPGA campaign die zich in de Forgotten Realms campaign afspeelt. Het grote voordeel van een Living Campaign is dat je personages XP, gold en equipment verdienen en dus ook levelen. Andere RPGA avonturen gebruiken meestal personages die niet verder gebruikt worden buiten dat specifieke avontuur (vb een avontuur met vooraf gegenereerde personages).

Deze living campaign is geregionaliseerd om administratieve redenen. België valt onder de region Noord-Europa & Rusland en deze regio komt in de campaign overeen met The Dalelands. Dat wil niet zeggen dat de personages die je speelt moeten van deze regio komen.
